Tooth Filling Services (Restorative Dentistry) In Mississauga

Fillings that are tooth coloured, are also called composite restorations, resin restorations, white fillings or dental bonding. They are an aesthetically appealing alternative to mercury amalgam (silver) fillings.

These fillings match your natural tooth colour, they are very durable and long lasting. Composite fillings can repair cracks, gaps, chipped teeth and decayed teeth.

Tooth Filling (Restorative) Services In Mississauga

These fillings are placed in thin layers on teeth that have been decayed or have fractured to restore the tooth to it's original form.

These fillings are made up of a mixture of plastic and acrylic materials. They have a very natural tooth like appearance and can be used on any tooth in your mouth.

Throughout the years these fillings have improved significantly in strength and its seal to the tooth. This reduces the risk of leakage.

At City Heights Dental Centre we strive to restore your tooth to its most natural like appearance. We sculpt your resin fillings with various instruments, and then polish them to look very aesthetically pleasing.

Our goal is to restore your tooth to health but also to beautify it to what it should be. If you have any questions regarding this procedure please do not hesitate to contact us.

Teeth (Dental) Bonding Services In Mississauga

Dental bonding is a very comfortable way to beautify or repair teeth that are slightly chipped discoulored or crooked.

The material used is a white filling material, called composite resin, that matches your tooth and is placed on the tooth to improve its appearance.

At City Heights Dental Centre, prior to starting the bonding procedure, we check the shade of your teeth and will try on a material so that we can make sure that we have a shade that blends in beautifully with your natural teeth. This material bonds with your teeth and has a very natural like appearance.

Bonding is much more affordable than other cosmetic treatments such as veneers and can easily be completed in one visit.

Do keep in mind that bonding can stain overtime and can be easier to fracture compared to porcelain veneers.
