Dr. Gurjeet Rai

Dentist

Dr. Gurjeet Kaur Rai graduated from the University of Toronto in 1997 with her BSc. in chemistry and mathematical sciences. She then went on to complete a diploma in dental hygiene, and graduated from George Brown College in 1999. Enjoying dentistry, Dr. Rai decided to further pursue her studies.

In 2006, she received her D.D.S degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Rai enjoys treating patients of all ages. Having three young children herself, she is very comfortable working on younger patients. Her dental hygiene background plays a large role in her emphasis on your oral health and overall health...a healthy smile, a healthy lifestyle.

She enjoys and is efficient in all aspects of dentistry from preventative care to restorative and cosmetic care. She is certified in Invisalign (wireless braces) and takes great pleasure in giving her patients a beautiful and confident smile. In her free time, Dr. Rai is busy with her three very active children. Having a busy career and a family herself, Dr. Rai looks forward to her quiet time with either a book or watching a movie!

Dr. Sharmila Sachi

Dentist

Dr. Sachi graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science Specialized Honours Degree in Biology. Thanks to her own dentist and his excellent team, she always knew she wanted to be a dentist. She graduated with a Degree in Dentistry from the University of Toronto in 2007.

Over the past 9 years she has had the privilege of educating patients about the importance of oral health in promoting overall health. Dr. Sachi believes in providing patients with sufficient information so that they can be involved in the decision making process.

She also loves working with kids and they love her! Her warm and friendly approach wins kids over every time and she provides them with a fun and educational experience. She looks forward to earning your trust and providing quality dental care to you and your family.

Dr. Gokhan Shevket

Dentist

Dr. Gokhan Shevket is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (DDS), and University of Toronto (Honours BSc, Biology Specialist). He served with the Canadian Forces as a dentist (Captain) from 2006-2010. Currently, he is focusing his dental services primarily in surgery, providing surgical extraction of impacted wisdom teeth in a number of clinics, including our very own, City Heights Dental Centre.

Dental Receptionist

Rani has been in the dental field for 20+ years, and her friendly British accent is what greets you when you call the office. She enjoys meeting new patients and catching up with existing patients. Over the years our patients have become a part of our family at City Heights Dental. 
With her responsible and caring nature, she addresses our patients' concerns efficiently and compassionately. She is ready to help you take your smile to new heights!

When Rani's not greeting our valued patients, she loves spending time with her dog Kobe, and her beautiful and busy family. 

Nicole

Dental Receptionist

Nicole has been with our team for over 15 years, and has been in the dental industry for over 25 years. She has a friendly personality and a laughter that is super contagious and makes you feel at ease while in the office!

Nicole helps keep our patients organized with coordinating appointments and sending out friendly reminders to help our patients get the smile they have always imagined.

When she is not at work, Nicole is out hiking and walking along the lake while taking in the beautiful views of the city. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves watching movies from the 80's.

Ranjani

PDA (Preventative Dental Assistant)

Ranjani is our PDA (Preventative Dental Assistant) with expertise in the dental field.  Ranjani is great with kids and adults.

You will see Ranjani greating you at the front reception, or confirming your appointments.  Don't be surprised when you see her also working alongside our dentists and assisting in your treatment.

Ranjani is great with anxious patients and those with a fear of dentistry. She will calmly explain the procedure and helps to answer any questions you may have. Let Ranjani help you relax while you get the smile you've always wanted.

Eny

PDA (Preventative Dental Assistant)

Eny is our full time PDA (Preventative Dental Assistant). Born in Central America, raised in Vancouver and residing in Mississauga, Eny is a great team player. She keeps our office completely organized, everything sanitized and our equipment running smoothly! 
She loves the dental profession and goes above and beyond to make sure your appointment is as comfortable as possible as we work on perfecting your smile.

When Eny isn't working, she LOVES sleeping in, and then staying up super late watching Korean movies and online shopping. 

Sandra

Dental Assistant

Sandra has recently joined our team. She is our full time CDA (Certified Dental Assistant), and brings with her clinical and front desk experience.

Sandra loves being a part of a team that supports one another and works well together to create a great experience for our patients.

When she is not at work, Sandra is busy with her family and loves spending time with her 2 daughters and enjoying quality time over dinners and spa days.

Ana

Dental Assistant

Ana is the one of our newest addition to our team. She is our full time CDA (Certified Dental Assistant), and is very eager to learn so much with us.

Ana loves being a part of a team that works well together to create a healthy work place.

Ana lives in Mississauga and keeps active with her 2 beautiful kids.

When she is not at work, Ana is super busy with her family and loves volunteering at her local church and helping out in the community

Mona

RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Mona our RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) has been with us since 2012. She is wonderful with all of her patients, and immediately puts them at ease. She has a gentle manner, that even the most anxious patients' will be comfortable whilst in her chair.

Mona encourages you to floss to heighten your oral health and take your smile to new levels!

When not working, Mona enjoys trying new recipes and working on her garden. She has a green thumb that she super proud of (and she should be)!

Ravneet (Ravi)

RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Ravi is our RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) has been with us for many many years. She originally started with us as a dental assistant, and then also worked with us as a dental receptionist.  You may remember her if you came in on Saturday mornings for your appointments.  She then continued with her studies and is now with us as a dental hygienist. 

She is wonderful with all of her patients, and immediately puts them at ease. She has a gentle manner, that even the most anxious patients' will be comfortable whilst in her chair.  She gets numerous compliments on her thoroughness.

Ravi encourages you to floss and to always use an electric toothbrush.

When not working, Ravi enjoys spending time with her cute little niece and nephew.  They keep her busy and on her toes when she's with them.

Julia

RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Julia our RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) keeps herself energized and pays attention to her nutrition as well as yours.  She believes that food is medicine for our bodies, and healthy living is a foundation to a happy life!

Julia will encourage you to eat better, brush better, floss often and live a happy healthy life.

When not working, Julia is busy mom to 2 energetic kids and enjoys the great outdoors with them along with cooking up new recipes and baking.  What really puts a smile on her face (other than her children) is her collection of orchids, she loves watching them bloom.

Maricel

RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Maricel our RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) is the newest member of our hygiene team.  She keeps herself energized and pays attention to her oral health as well as yours.  She believes that  healthy living is a foundation to a happy life!

Maricel will encourage you to eat better, brush better, floss often and just enjoy life.

When not working, she enjoys the great outdoors, loves cooking up new recipes and sharing what she made with her team!  What really puts a smile on her face is enjoying family time with her loved ones.
